Case study · Service integration
Built from scratch.
Built around them.
How we replaced a platform that was too small for where they were going, and built everything they needed in one place.
Meridian Field Servicesname changed for client privacy
A 60-person service operation running across multiple states, with a distributed field team working off one core scheduling and dispatch platform. Like a lot of growing service businesses, they’d outgrown their software: it worked when they were smaller, but at 60+ employees and hundreds of customers it was holding them back.

The situation
Meridian ran their entire operation through one off-the-shelf platform: scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, job tracking. The core platform worked well enough. The surrounding layer didn’t, and everything lived in a different place.
- Scheduling took up the operations manager’s entire day
- One job change or no-show would throw off the whole schedule
- No system that could handle CRM, scheduling, invoicing, and inspections together
- The software they were using was too basic for the size they’d grown to
Custom features they needed didn’t exist in any off-the-shelf tool.
What we built
We mapped every manual workflow before writing a line of code, then built directly on their platform’s open API.
- A fully custom scheduling system that adjusts automatically when jobs change
- Custom CRM layer synced to live customer and job data from their core platform
- Inspection portal the whole team can access and use in the field
- Automated follow-ups and reminders for customers and staff
- Revenue recovery system surfacing existing customers due for service
- Everything connected: one system, built around how they actually work
No off-the-shelf compromise. Built from the ground up around exactly how they run the business.
“Every other solution added another layer of complexity and wanted us to adapt to it. This was the first time we had something built around us. We saw results in how we worked right away.”

The approach
Discovery before development
Before writing a single line of code, we sat down with the owners and mapped exactly how the business ran: every tool in the stack, every manual workaround, every handoff that fell through. By the end of discovery we understood their workflows completely and had a clear picture of the build.
Built from scratch, around how they work
No existing platform to work around; just their workflows, their team, and exactly what they needed. We got a working version in front of them fast, then iterated until it matched how they wanted to run the business.
Full deployment in 22 days
From the first conversation to a fully live system in 22 days. Every workflow mapped, every integration connected, every feature built to spec. Ongoing support included: new functions and adjustments available anytime.
Your operation is different.
That’s the point.
Every build starts the same way this one did: a 15-minute call to map where your systems are losing time, and what’s worth building.
